Augmented Pixels News: SLAM Benchmarks, VentureBeat, and NAS

AR industry landscape

Hi!
Winter holidays are over – it’s time to work!
We have some interesting news, I would like to share with you in the beginning of 2017:

  1. SLAM SDK and benchmarks

Due to the high demand on the licensing of SLAM SDK for robotics/drones and AR Glasses from large companies, we decided not to release the SDK publicly since its support would take the considerable amount of time.

However, benchmarks and comparisons of our SLAM SDK vs Google Tango, etc. are already available. If you are interested in this information, please write to me – we will sign NDA and reveal the data.

  1. VentureBeat

In December 2016 the VR Fund in conjunction with VentureBeat published a report about the leaders of AR / VR industry.

Augmented Pixels has been included in the top 10 suppliers of Computer Vision technology, along with such “small” companies as Apple and Google.

The full report is available here.

  1. National Academy of Sciences (USA)

In November 2016 I was invited to Washington D.C. to speak about Artificial Intelligence and Augmented Reality in several industries in front of the board of directors of the National Academy of Sciences (USA).
It was a great honor for me and a very interesting experience.

Details are available here

  1. EECVC Conference

We started preparations for our annual conference for Computer Vision and Machine Learning developers (invitation ONLY) that will take place on July 14, 2017. Last year we gathered 160 the best engineers from 9 countries (report).
